Often clients are interested to know more about their treasures or want to know whether they should insure them.We can assist here too, doing whatever research may be necessary.
We do this for no charge if only general information is required but, if research and documentation is requested, we charge a reasonable fee for this service.
When there is an object brought to us for restoration, we normally recommend that the client go to an independent valuer for this to be done. In general, it is wise to have precious items individually insured.
